From September 10 to 13, Zico House hosted the festival Anti-Crise, organized with In Concert, with musicians from all over the world.
In September 2004 and in parallel with the political crisis at that time, In Concert initiated the idea of an annual musical festival, titled “Anti-Crise”, as a venue to solidify unity and stability through cultural activism. The first edition of the festival took place in Beirut between 10 and 13 September, at Zico House, and was attended by hundreds of musical fans. From its inception, Anti-Crise festival included diverse musical styles and influences, where local as well as international musicians from around the world performed.
The festival hosted musicians from all over the world such as Mazen Kerbaj (the well-known Lebanese jazz and free improvisation trumpeter and comic book artist), Gros Bras, Fahed Hawwa, Vetusta Morla, Masrah el Arab, Uniwave, Afro Mussawisadeh, Eskisse Wassim, Cesar K, Ala, Mo Lu Photovangelist, Claude Chalhoub, Performance A4 and Familha Artus.
