Transisto Beirut

Sponsored by Zico House/Beirut, White box/ New York, Virgin and Soldier, on two and third of September, the “Beirut Street Festival” launched a festival for the Brazilian Solange Fabiao under the title ‘Transisto Beirut” from 9:00 pm until 12:00 am, among the performances that were presented after the “Yalla” dance show.
Solange’s idea is to revive scenes from the three cities of New York, Shanghai and Beirut. This show is also set in the context of globalization, through which the director wishes to show the closeness of world cities to each other in terms of cultural and social customs and traditions.
The Downtown dome on Martyr’s square (formerly) formed the show’s first screen and the Virgin Megastore formed the second.
The first show was about New York and the second about Shanghai and the Chinese city of Nanning. Indeed, this show has been extended until September ten, at the request of the public.

Sponsorisé par la Zico House/Beyrouth, Boite blanche/ New York, Virgin et Solidaire, les 2 et 3 Septembre, le “Beirut Street Festival” a relancé un festival pour la brésilienne Solange Fabiao intitulé “Transisto Beyrouth” de 9:00 le soir jusqu’à 12:00 minuit, et c’était parmi les performances qui ont été présentées après le spectacle de la danse “Yalla”.
L’idée de Solange est de faire revivre des scènes des trois villes de New York, Shanghai et Beyrouth. Ce spectacle se situe également dans le contexte de la mondialisation, à travers lequel le réalisateur souhaite montrer la proximité des villes mondiales entre elles en termes de coutumes et traditions culturelles et sociales.
Le dôme de centre-ville sur la place des martyrs (anciennement) formait le premier écran du spectacle et le Virgin Megastore formait le deuxième. Le premier spectacle parlait de New York et le second de Shanghai et de la ville chinoise Nanning. En effet, ce spectacle a été prolongé jusqu’au 10 Septembre, à la demande du public.

برعاية زيكو هاوس/بيروت، العلبة البيضاء/ نيو يورك/ فيرجين و السوليدير، لقد أحيا “مهرجان الشارع – بيروت” بتاريخ الثاني و الثالث من شهر أيلول عام ٢٠٠٤ مهرجانا للبرازيلية سولانج فابياو تحت عنوان “ترانزيستو بيروت” من الساعة التاسعة مساء وحتى الثانية عشر ليلا ، و هو من ضمن العروض التي قدّمت بعد عرض “يلّا” الراقص.
فكرة سولانج هي إحياء مشاهد لثلاث مدن: نيويورك، شنغهاي و بيروت. و يتمّ هذا العرض أيضا في ٳطار العولمة التي تودّ المخرجة من خلالها أن يظهر تقارب المدن العالمية بعضها من بعض على صعيد العادات و التقاليد الثقافية و الاجتماعية.
لقد شكّلت قبّة السيتي سنتر في ساحة الشهداء (سابقا) الشاشة الأولى للعرض، و مبنى الفيرجين ميغاستور الشاشة الثانية، و قد تمّ العرض الأوّل عن مدينة نيويورك و الثاني عن مدينة شنغهاي و المدينة الصينية نانينج، وقد تمّ تمديد هذا العرض لغاية العاشر من أيلول نزولا عند رغبة الجمهور.
