Zico House was started in 1994, few years after the end of the civil war, as a multi-use venue by Moustapha Yammout (aka Zico), a lover of arts and culture, in his charming traditional family home (traditional Beiruti building dating to 1935) in order to give artists and performers a space to create and express themselves.
As a platform for emerging artists, it defends experimental and avant-garde works and contributes to the development of art in Lebanon.
