/ AL-MAWSAM
The project Al-Mawsam, was brought into being following the closure of one of the independent theatres in Beirut, Masrah Al Madina (Theatre of the City).
In response to this tragedy, Zico House management decided to open a theatre-space in reaction to the current situation.
In 2004, Al Mawsam re-opened Estral, the movie-theatre for the period of 3 months with a rich cultural program. In 2006, another forgotten cultural space was chosen: Marignan, today known as Babel Theatre. In 2008, Al Mawsam worked at creating theater companies in 4 different villages.
