Vukašin Nedeljković 2023
Zico House continues its tradition of hosting international artists with Vukašin Nedeljković, an Irish-based artist supported by Artemed. Nedeljković, known for his socially engaged art, joins Zico House as a resident for a month-long exploration of Beirut. His work, Asylum Archive, documents Ireland’s refugee accommodation system, reflecting his interest in collaborative arts practices and refugee issues.
“I’m a visual artist and researcher interested in socially engaged collaborative arts practices. Since 2006, my work, Asylum Archive, has focused on documenting the Irish accommodation system for people seeking refuge. I’m a resident at Zico House and wish to learn about Beirut and its approach to refugees.”
