Since the age of 19, Mazen Zahreddine (The Amazin’ Sardine) has been performing in public with words and gestures. Actor and writer, he was propelled by the collective The Poeticians with whom he developed his texts in the Beirut of his adolescence. He was finally published in the anthology Beirut Noir in 2015.
Barely Bearable Poetry is a collection of poems allegedly expert in bad taste. In front of a large audience at Zico House, Mazen Zahreddine speaks about his view of Beirut, the conflicting experiences of communities and the emancipation of youth.
