On April 10, Zico House proudly presented the recital for flute and piano by Nabil Mroue and Janna Popkova.
Nabil Mroue is born in 1964. He began his musical and flute studies at the age of 10 with his uncle Nizar Mroue and Mrs. Andre Abou Suwan as a flute instructor.
In 1987 went on a scholarship to Kiev, Ukraine to have an academic study in music. He studied the Flute , first in Musical College “GLIER” and after at the Tchaikovsky Higher Conservatory of Music under Oleg Kudriashov, where he got his Master degree in fine arts and as a flute player in 1994.
He performed many recitals in Lebanon and outside that included various musical works. Since 1995 he is the main flute teacher at the Lebanese National Conservatory of Music.
Janna Popkova born in Northern Russia, Ukrainian citizen. She got her academic music education at specialized music school and finished her Master degree at the university of arts in Kharkov-Ukrain 1999 , as a teacher and performer in jazz and classical piano.
In 1994-2005 was a member of orchestra in Kharkov. Since 2007 she is a piano teacher at the Lebanese National Conservatory of Music and participated in many chamber music concerts in Lebanon.
