As part of the first edition of the Beirut Street Festival and the sustainable campaign “Transport” of “Green Line”, the old station, located in Mar Mikhael, hosted, on Wednesday August eleven 2004 at 8:30 pm, a performance of oriental dance in cooperation with Zico House.
Three young women united by a single passion (belly dancing). They formed the “Adelante” band. Nada Choaib the Lebanese, Annie the Cameroonian and Hiroko the Japanese. They showed their own shows and made several tours through Europe.
The performance “Yalla” – presented at Mar Mikhael – consisted from six plates. In solo, duo and trio, Nada Choaib, Annie and Hiroko charmed the audience with their beauty and grace. The show began with three charming plates where each of the dancers performed their traditional dance. Annie, in a white African costume, Hiroko in a japanese kimono and Nada Choaib, cast in a long with gold tunic. First solo, then as a trio, they each presented a painting in their traditional costume, these women who each seem to embosy the symbol of their country and their culture.
Then the three dancers presented to the spectators a very successful performance, to the sound punctuated by the “Derbakeh” all dressed in the same white gold tunic of Nada Chaib.
Of very different origins and cultures, these three young dancers have communed with this purely oriental music creating between them and unusual harmony, abolishing all borders and making the public want to do the same, this public who barely held quiet on the spot.
After a short break, Annie and Hiroko reappeared in very colorful Belly dance costumes. They evolved with great grace and flexibility equipped with a golden cane and castanets.
To close the show, the three young women mingled with the audience, swaying to the very uplifting sounds of a popular Egyptian song. They invited several spectators to join them in dancing.
Sponsored by Zico House, the “Green Line” association, the “Heinrich Boll” foundation and the syndicate of press photographers, and in parallel to the “Yalla!” dancing show, the photo-exhibition “Those were the days” “Land transport in Lebanon, past and present” took place at the same date at 7:30 pm, at the Old Train Station – Mar Mikhael – After Electricité du Liban (Jemmayze). The exhibition continued till August Eighteen, 2004.

Dans le cadre de la première édition du Festival de la rue de Beyrouth et de la campagne de Transport durable de Green Line, l’ancienne gare, située à Mar Mikhaël, a accueilli, le mercredi 11 Août 2004 à 8h30, une performance de danse orientale en coopération avec la Zico House.
Trois jeunes femmes unies par une seule passion (la danse du ventre). Elles ont formé la bande « Adelante ». Nada Choaib la Libanaise , Annie la Camerounaise et Hiroko la Japonaise. Elles ont montré leurs propres spectacles et effectué plusieurs tournées à travers l’Europe.
La performance « Yalla » – présentée à Mar Mikhaël – a comporté sux tableaux. En solo, duo et trio, Nada, Annie et Hiroko ont charmé le public par leur beauté et leur grâce. Le spectacle a commencé par trois charmants tableaux où chacune des danseuses a interprété sa danse traditionnelle. Annie, dans un costume africain blanc, Hiroko en kimono Japonais et Nada Choaib, moulée dans une longue tunique blanche en or. En solo d’abord, puis en trio, elles ont présenté un tableau chacune dans son costume traditionnel, ces femmes qui semblent chacune incarner le symbole de son pays et de sa culture.
Puis les trois danseuses ont présenté au spectateurs une performance bien réussite, au son rythmé de la « Derbakeh » habillées toutes de la même tunique blanche en or de Nada Choaib. D’origines et de cultures très différentes, ces trois jeunes danseuses ont communié avec cette musique purement orientale créant entre elles une harmonie peu commune, abolissant toutes les frontières et donnant envie au public de faire de même, ce public qui tenait à peine tranquille sur place.
Après une petite pause, Nada Choaib, Annie et Hiroko ont réapparu en costumes de danse orientale très colorés. Elles ont évolué avec beaucoup de grâce et de souplesse munies d’une canne dorée et de castagnettes.
Pour clôturer le spectacle, les trois jeunes femmes se sont mêlées au public, se balançant aux sons très stimulants d’une chanson égyptienne populaire. Elles ont invité plusieurs spectateurs à les rejoindre pour danser.
Sponsorisé par la Zico House, l’association de « La Ligne Verte », l’institution « Heinrich Boll » et le syndicat des photographes de la presse, et parallèlement au spectacle de dance « Yalla ! », l’exposition de photos « Ce sont des jours » « Transport terrestre au Liban passé et présent » a eu lieu à la même date à 7h30 le soir, dans le centre des chemins de fer et de transport partagé – Mar Mikhael – après de L’EDL (Jemmayze). Cette exposition a continué jusqu’au 18 Août 2004.

في ٳطار النسخة الأولى لمهرجانات “شارع بيروت” و حملة “النقل” المستدامة ل”الخط الأخضر”، استقبلت المحطة القديمة المتمركزة في قلب منطقة مار مخايل – يوم الأربعاء الحادي عشر من آب ٢٠٠٤ الساعة الثامنة و النصف مساء – أداء رقص شرقيّ بالتّعاون مع زيكو هاوس.
ثلاث نساء جمعهنّ الشّغف: (رقصة البطن) أسّسن فرقة “أديلانت”. ندى شعيب اللبنانية، آني الكاميرونيّة و هيروكو اليابانية قد قدّمن عروضهنّ الخاصّة و أقمن عدّة جولات في أنحاء أوروبا.
أداء “يلّا” – المقدّم في مار مخايل – تضمّن ستّ لوحات: السولو، الدّيو و التريو. ندى، آني و هيروكو قد سحرن الجمهور بجمالهنّ و نعومتهنّ. بدأ العرض بثلاث لوحات ساحرة حيث قدّمت كل راقصة رقصتها التقليديّة، و قد ظهرت آني بزيّها الٳفريقيّ الأبيض، هيروكو بالكيمونو اليابانيّ و ندى شعيب بسترة طويلة بيضاء و ذهبيّة. بالسولو أوّلا ثمّ بالتريو قدّمت كلّ منهنّ لوحة بزيّها التقليديّ. كلّ راقصة قد مثّلت بلدها و ثقافتها.
و من ثمّ قدّمت الراقصات الثلاث للجمهور أداء ناجحا على صوت الدربكة الٳيقاعيّ مرتديات سترة ندى البيضاء و الذّهبيّة الطويلة نفسها. و قد انسجمت صاحبات الثقافات المختلفة الثلاث مع هذه الموسيقى الشرقيّة بحت خالقات نوع من التّناغم و متجاوزات جميع الحدود، مما أعطى الجمهور رغبة في تقليدهنّ، ذلك الجمهور الذي قلّما بقي في مكانه خلال الحفل.
بعد استراحة قصيرة، ظهرت كلّ من ندى شعيب و آني و هيروكو بلباس شرقيّ متعدّد الألوان، و قد أدّين بكلّ سلاسة و نعومة حاملات عصا ذهبيّة و صنجات.
في ختام العرض، تمايلت الراقصات أمام الجمهور على وقع أنغام حماسيّة لأغنية مصريّة شعبيّة، و قد دعين العديد من الجمهور لمشاركتهنّ في الرّقص.
برعاية زيكو هاوس، جمعيّة “الخط الأخضر”، مؤسّسة “هانريش بول” و نقابة مصوّري الصحافة، و توازيا مع عرض “يلّا!” أقيم معرض الصور الفوتوغرافية “رزق الله على أيّامك” “النقل البري في لبنان الماضي و الحاضر”، و ذلك في مركز مصلحة سكك الحديد و النقل المشترك – مار مخايل – بعد شركة الكهرباء (الجميزة) في تمام الساعة السابعة و النصف مساء. و قد استمرّ المعرض لغاية الثامن عشر من آب.
