From Saturday 24 to 31 January, Zico House hosted Imad Issa’s new exhibition. The public was invited to move carefully between 340 hollow, white and round dishes strewn on the floor, at the risk of breaking the installation.
A Dadaist artist during the civil war, Imad Issa is a graduate of the Institute of Fine Arts at the Lebanese University and the Institute of Fine Arts in Barcelona. He uses sculpture and video installations to address violence and conflict. Since 1984, he has exhibited at the SV Gallery, the Goethe Institute and Zico House (1999, 2001).
An exhibition organized by Zico House in partnership with the Lebanese General Company for Commercial Investment (Beirut).
