From September 12 to 26, seven films will be presented to the Lebanese public as part of the Iranian Cinema Week at Al Medina Theater in Beirut and Beit el Fann in Tripoli. This event was made possible thanks to the partnership with : Zico House, As Safir, Bank Saderat Iran and Al Marmar.

The cyclist by the famous director Mohssen Makhmalbaf, retraces the story of an Afghan refugee who lives in Iran, and does not have sufficient means to buy treatment for his sick wife.
The Legend of sigh by Tahmineh Milani describes the lives of five Iranian women from very different social backgrounds. Each of them thinks that the life of the other is better, and all have in common an unfulfilled desire to live.
Hamon by Dariush Mehrjui deals with the marriage and existential crises of a modern couple in Iran in the 1990s.
The Actor by Mohssen Makhmalbaf is a film about a popular actor who would like to act in serious films.
In Maybe in Another Time by Bahram Baizaie, a man finds pictures of his wife in a stranger’s car. Intrigued, he will investigate and gradually discover a painful past that reflects the social situation of Iran in the 1950s.
Eventually, The Blue Scarf by Rakhshan Bani Etemad offers the portrait of a widowed father locked in his solitude, despite his three married daughters who take care of him. A young girl who works on his farm will gradually give him hope in life.
