In 2024, the Eco-Hub in Hamra hosted a free Social Clowning Workshop led by Zaher Adwan and Fernando Wanderely. Participants aged 16 to 25 explored physical and emotional expressions through clowning tools and creative mime games. Fernando and Zaher, passionate about spreading joy through laughter and play, facilitated exercises aimed at fostering imagination and deeper bodily connection.

Free and open class with Paramaz

On Thursday, July 4th, participants gathered at Al Majdieh Mosque at 6:30 PM for a free class with Paramaz from @circus_hub. The evening continued with "Invisible Journeys" at 7:15 PM by Abbas Bayram, featuring Jad Halal, Ghaida Al-Dirani, and Judy Salloum. At 7:40 PM, everyone marched through the city center to Skate Square (Al Zaytouna), where acrobatic shows by Jokers, Sharara, Cirquenciel, Boulaban, Beirut Bladers, and Al Hanadil skate brigade delighted the audience.

After ten years of inactivity, the Beirut Street Festival is back! Despite all challenges, find us on the streets next month. The BERYT project is implemented by @unhabitatlb with funding from the Lebanon Financing Facility (LFF) administered by the World Bank (WB). The Cultural and Creative Industries component is implemented by @unesco.beirut.

Beirut Street Festival 2024

In 2024, the Beirut Street Festival returned to the streets with a fresh new logo, transitioning from vector to hand-drawn design. The logo was conceived by @nour_shamma3, with original font development by @dahlia.barakat, and finalization and animation by @felipebellofelipe. The event was supported by @zicohouseofficial and @mayssan_art, adding vibrant creativity to the festival.

Yalla! Beirut Street Festival

As part of the first edition of the Beirut Street Festival and the sustainable campaign “Transport” of “Green Line”, the old station, located in Mar Mikhael, hosted, on Wednesday August eleven 2004 at 8:30 pm, a performance of oriental dance in cooperation with Zico House.
