As part of the In Concert music programme, Zico House hosted a concert by Ziad Ahmadie and his band on 11 February.
In 2004, In Concert continued its mission of music discovery and development by expanding its activities and outreach and creating collaborations between various musicians and spaces.
On the 10th and 11th of February 2004, In Concert organized two consecutive concerts with the artist Ziad Al Ahmadie at Steps Cultural Space in Tyr and at Zico House.

A graduate in Communication Arts from the Lebanese American University in Beirut, Ziad Ahmadie also studies the oud lute at the Lebanese National Conservatory. Although inspired by traditional Arab melodies, his creations merge many musical influences. His albums – Bilbal (2003), Beyond Traditions (2006) and Silent Wave (2009) – have won him numerous musical awards including the Zaki Nassif Award in Beirut in 2003. He composes for television, cinema and theater and performs in many European and Eastern cities (Fez, Geneva, Barcelona, Beirut, Amman). A trained soloist, he nevertheless collaborates with Gene Coleman in Washington and Robert Clerc in Paris.
