On Thursday 20 November at 6pm, Zico House opened the exhibition of paintings by Eli Abou Samra, curated by Beatrice Harb, until 27 November.
Born in Beirut in 1970, Elie Abou Samra graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice in 2004. Working in painting as well as visual and video art, he has been exhibiting solo and in groups throughout Europe and the Arab world since 1999. Inspired by Levantine iconography, his work explores loneliness, fear, discrimination and agony.
