On Wednesday 11 March 2009 at 8pm, Zico House hosted a screening of Lotfi Hala‘s latest film, Feeling Cold.
Lotfi Hala is an Egyptian film producer, screenwriter and director known worldwide. She has directed numerous documentaries for the big screen and for Al Jazeera TV.
Feeling Cold depicts the stories of nine women of different ages and backgrounds. Each woman speaks openly about her love life and the consequences of the crises and break-ups it entails. The film observes the signs of depression that confine these women to suffering. Four years before its screening in Zico House, it received the Special Jury Prize at the Egyptian National Film Festival and the Golden Hawke at the Arab Film Festival in Rotterdam.
The screening was organized by the Nadi Lekol El Nas Film Club, in partnership with Chico Records (formerly Chico) and Zico House.
استضاف Zico House يوم الأربعاء 11 مارس 2009 في تمام الساعة الثامنة مساءً عرضاً لأحدث أفلام هالة لطفي بعنوان Feeling Cold.
هالة لطفي هي منتجة سينمائية وكاتبة سيناريو ومخرجة مصرية لها شهرتها العالمية. أخرجت العديد من الأفلام الوثائقية للشاشة الكبيرة وقناة الجزيرة الفضائية.
يصور فيلم Feeling Cold قصص تسع نساء من مختلف الأعمار والخلفيات. تتحدث كل امرأة بصراحة عن حياتها العاطفية وعواقب الأزمات والانقسامات التي تترتب عليها. يرصد الفيلم علامات الاكتئاب التي تقيد هؤلاء النساء بالمعاناة. قبل أربع سنوات من عرضه في Zico House، كان قد حصل الفيلم على جائزة لجنة التحكيم الخاصة في المهرجان القومي للسينما المصرية وجائزة Golden Hawke في مهرجان الفيلم العربي في روتردام.
تم تنظيم العرض من قبل نادي السينما نادي لكل الناس، بالشراكة مع Chico Records(المعروف سابقًا ب-Chico) و Zico House.
