From Thursday 6 April to 21 April 2006, The Goethe Institut of Beirut hosted Imad Issa’s installation Encased.
The artist, active since 1981, arranges cages and boxes in the German Cultural Centre. “Trust me, ” says Imad Issa, “black box or white box: it doesn’t matter what is inside. In my country, many minds are empty, and some of them are inside me.”
This exhibition was organized by The Goethe Institut of Beirut with the partnership of Zico House.
