At the end of 3 weeks of one-to-one encounters, everyone’s solo work will co-exist in the same space and at the same time.

Mélanie Fréguin has university degrees in art history, information and communication sciences and international law – specializing in humanitarian law. Since June 2011, she works at the Geneva Dance School / Ballet Junior de Genève as an administrator and collaborates with Ioannis Mandafounis in the development of his contemporary dance company.

From March 20th to April 19th, Overseas Culture Interchange, founded by Mélanie Fréguin, is in residency at Zico House, Beirut. The guest choreographer Émilia Giudicelli will be working individually with each artist in reminiscence of Robert Rauschenberg’s dance experiments. At the end of 3 weeks of one-to-one encounters, everyone’s solo work will co-exist in the same space and at the same time on the day of the event. David Kretonic will document the project and design the light.
