In the stage space, the body represses, fears, conceals, feigns and unleashes itself. Its fall is a point of departure, a moment of letting go, of loosening up, of attachment to the ground, of colliding, of abandonment and of rebound.
Two years after the terrible events that hit Lebanon in 2006, the 4120.CORPS company presented its new show “Instant de chutes” at Shams on 21 November 2008 (8:30 pm). As partner of the project, Zico House welcomed the French artists in residency for a period of one month.
The 4120.CORPS company is a dance company founded in 2007 by Nancy Naous, a Lebanese-Palestinian choreographer and performer trained in theatre at the Beirut Institute of Fine Arts. Holder of a diploma from the Beaux-Arts in Paris, she has been going back and forth between France and Lebanon in parallel with the number of her artistic collaborations. While directing Studio 11, the country’s first theater collective, she founded 4120.CORPS (4120 kilometers separate Beirut from Paris). Imbued with the history of Lebanon, her creations attempt to transcribe its identity and experience while seeking to go beyond its geographical location. Nancy Naous collaborates with Lebanese directors such as Roger Assaf and Siham Nasser.
Instant de chutes intends to make bodies resonate with the violence of the 2006 conflict: in the stage space, the body represses, fears, conceals, feigns and unleashes itself. Its fall is a point of departure, a moment of letting go, of loosening up, of attachment to the ground, of colliding, of abandonment and of rebound. In front of a large audience at the Tournesol Theater, the performance questions the crises of the body and its energy in a state of emergency.
Woven between dance and theater and nourished by the gestural heritages of Arab cultures, this signature show of 4120.CORPS is performed by six dancers, Kazumi Fuchigami, Dalla Naous, Rainier Remondiere, Bechara Atallah, Steven Champs, Nancy Naous; conceived by Nancy Naous; set to music by Waël Kodeih; lit by Hagop Der-Ghougassian; and accompanied by the video creations of David Mathias.

بعد عامين من الأحداث الرهيبة التي عصفت بلبنان في عام 2006، قدمت شركة 4120.CORPS عرضها الجديد Instant de chutes في مسرح دوار الشمس يوم 21 تشرين الثاني (نوفمبر) 2008 (8:30 مساءً).
شركة 4120.CORPS هي شركة رقص تأسست في عام 2007 من قبل نانسي نعوس، وهي مصممة ومؤدية رقصات لبنانية-فلسطينية كانت قد تدربت على العمل المسرحي في معهد بيروت للفنون الجميلة. نعوس أيضاً حاصلة على دبلوم من أكاديمية الفنون الجميلة (Beaux-Arts) في باريس، وكانت تتنقل بين فرنسا ولبنان بالتوازي مع مشاركتها بعدد من المساهمات الفنية. أثناء إدارتها Studio 11، وهو أول مجموعة مسرحية في البلاد، أسست نعوس CORPSE.4120 (٤١٢٠ كيلومتر تفصل بيروت عن باريس). مشبعة بتاريخ لبنان، إبداعاتها الفنية في آن تحفظ هويتها وتجربتها اللبنانية وتسعى إلى تجاوز حدودها الجغرافية. تتعاون نانسي نعوس مع مخرجين لبنانيين مثل روجيه عساف وسهام ناصر.
يهدف Instant de chutes إلى جعل الأجساد تنسجم مع عنف أحداث عام 2006: في مساحة المسرح، الجسد يقمع، يخاف، يخفي، يتظاهر ويطلق العنان لنفسه. سقوطه هو نقطة انطلاق، لحظة استرخاء، ارتخاء، تعلق بالأرض، لحظة تصادم، هجران وانتعاش. أمام جمهور كبير في مسرح دوار الشمس، يطرح العرض تساؤلات حول أزمة الجسد وطاقته في حالة الطوارئ.
ينسج هذا العرض المميز لـ 4120.CORPS بين الرقص والمسرح, وهو مشبع بالتراث الإيمائي للثقافات العربية. يؤديه ستة راقصين وهم كازومي فوشيجامي، ودالا ناوس، ورينييه ريموندير، وبشارة عطالله، وستيفن تشامبس، ونانسي نعوس؛ وهو من تصوّر نانسي نعوس ويعرض على أنغام وائل قديح. يضيئه هاكوب دير غوغاسيان برفقة ابداعات ديفيد ماتياس الفيديوية.
