Nermine El Ansari‘s Horizon exhibition took place in the Zico House from January 30 to February 9, 2003.
Nermine El Ansari is an Egyptian artist born in France, who exhibits not only in Egypt, but also internationally, in Germany, France, and Italy. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Versailles and that of Paris in multimedia. She then obtained a scholarship to study at the Instituto Superior de Arte in Havana (ISA).
Her work ranges from painting, drawing, animation, printmaking, installation and digital live drawing performance. At the beginning, she was interested in the human or animal body, deforming it or exploring the possibilities of distortions it offers. In recent years, she has focused more on cities, on the notion of borders and on urban landscapes.

نرمين الأنصاري هي فنانة مصريّة مولودة في فرنسا، و لا تقتصر على تقديم معارضها في مصر فحسب، بل أيضا على الصعيد العالميّ، في ألمانيا، فرنسا و أيضا في إيطاليا. تخرّجت من أكاديمية الفنون الجميلة في فرساي، و أيضا من أكاديمية الوسائط المتعدّدة في باريس. حصلت بعدها على منحة دراسيّة للدراسة في المعهد العالي للفنون في هافانا.
تطوّرت أعمالها من الرسم و التحريك، إلى النقش و التركيب و الأداء و الرسم الرّقميّ. في البداية، اهتمّت بالجسم اﻹنساني أو الحيواني، من خلال تغيير شكله أو استكشاف احتمالات التشويه التي يقدّمها. منذ بضعة سنوات، ركّزت أكثر على المدن، مفهوم الحدود و المشاهد الحضرية
