On January 24 and 25, Noha Nemer exhibited her first artistic work, The Revolutionary Mirror at Zico House.
The revolutionary mirror disunites photography and painting, it times death as it safeguards expressions of happiness. This performance questions the duty of family memory against a sound and visual background of the Lebanese civil war.
Noha Nemer has a doctorate in French literature and has been teaching French literature at the Lebanese University since 2012. The revolutionary mirror combines performance, installation through three modes of expression: writing, theater, photography. In 2021, she wrote her first dramatic text, All men are mortal and women too.
