From November 29 to December 6, Zico House welcomes a new event : the painting exhibition Identity of the place by Oussama Abdel Samad.
The exhibition features some thirty paintings by Oussama Abdel Samad, with particular emphasis on the really close buildings of Beirut, the satellite dishes on the roofs of buildings, and the contrasts between the houses surrounded by gardens and the large buildings stuck to them.
Oussama Abdel Samad is a Lebanese artist, born in 1969. In 1998, he became a member of the NGO International Association of Art (IAA), which supports cooperation and global artistic exchange. يتضمّن المعرض حوالي ثلاثين لوحة لأسامة عبد الصمد، مع تسليط الضوء خاصة على أبنية بيروت المعلّقة، أطباق الأقمار الصناعيّة على أسطح الأبنية و التباين بين المنازل المحاطة بالحدائق و الأبنية الكبيرة المجاورة لها
أسامة عبد الصمد هو فنّان لبنانيّ ولد عام ١۹٦۹. عام ١۹۹۸، أصبح عضو في أو.أن.جي، الرابطة الدولية للفنون، التي تروّج التبادل و التعاون الفنّيّ الدولي. شارك أيضا في العديد من المعارض، فردية أو جماعية و أهمّها:صالة دار الندوى ١۹۹٤، جمعية معرض الفنون ١۹۹٥، معرض روشان ٢٠٠١، معرض مرايا ١۹۹۹، نقابة الفنانين الرسامين١۹۹۹، النادي العربي الثقافي ٢٠٠٣، سيمبوسيوم ألي ٢٠٠٢-٢٠٠٤، النادي الثقافي العربي “ريد بريك” ٢٠١١، معرض “مجموعات” مدينة مونوكتون- كندا ٢٠١٣
