In her first public exhibition, Taghrid Darghouth exhibited Still Features from 10 to 17 February at Zico House.
A graduate of the Lebanese Institute of Fine Arts in Beirut in 2000, Taghreed Darghouth successively participated in projects at Ayloul’s Summer Academy in Jordan under the supervision of the Syrian-German artist Marwan Kassab Bashi. After graduating from the École nationale supérieure des Arts décoratifs in Paris, she exhibited for the first time in 2004 at Zico House (Still Features), then at the Goethe Institute in 2006 (Falling Parts). Since then, she has exhibited at the art gallery Agial Mirror, Mirror! (2008), Fair & Lovely (2010), Canticle of Death (2011), Rehearsals (2013), Vision Machines, Shal You See Me Better Now? (2015); and in Dubai Strange Fruit (2019), Toys and Trophies: From Zeus’s Pandora to Barbie Doll (2020).
