PERFORMANCES

Zico House hosts different type of performances, theatre, music, dance, visual arts, puppet show and many more.
Performances in Beirut often reflect the city’s rich cultural heritage and history, with many productions exploring themes related to politics, art, social issues, and the effects of war on the local population.

Fasih Kiso

At Zico House, Fasih Kiso presented an exhibition under the title of “It’s not just leather and fabric” and “Bathroom” on November 10, 11 and 26, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. in the evening with Doctor Bassam Nabhan. While on November 8,9 and 26 at 6:00 p.m. in the evening, Fasih presented an exhibition under the title of “The curtains of my room” at Espace SD.

Dressing

In 2003 from April fifteen to twenty-six, Zico House presented an installation under title of “Dressing-readdressing” by Mai Ghoussoub and Shaheen Merali, two “oriental” artists living in London. Mai nationality was Lebanese and Shaheen was Indian. This title is inspired by the play on the two expressions “Dressing” and “Read Dressing”.
